Got to the Dallas J at 7 am...went out of sevrvice to get some sleep..Was also sitting there with 4 other Bolt Vans...Fired up the generator and AC. Went and took a shower and then went to Sleep in Dallas. Woke up around noon all sweaty and the AC off..the Generator had quit. Got out and found it laying on its side...figured someone didn't like the nosie...Had to work at it and it took a while to get it started....it ran for about 1-2 minutes and shutdown.....Went to restart it and the pull cord wasn't working at all.....hmmmm...ok tried on and off for about 2 hours and nothing...it is tighted up...I guess being on its side took the oil off the crank and wiped out the lower end cause it ain't workin no more..... looks like a Honda EU2000i in my future....
PS: My frig is acting up also, only working when the Van is idling or the engine is off.....not at highway speeds.....
Anyhow ao iwent in service at 1400 was 4th out and hot...oh i also had left the lite above my bunk on all day along with the fan on high for the maxxvent...so i had a dead battery at 1400....So I got a jump start and decided not to sit there and idle the van to charge the battery, so I DH'd over to Shreveport and i am 1st out....
looks like a Honda EU2000i in my future....PS: My frig is acting up also, only working when the Van is idling or the engine is off.....not at highway speeds.....
