Quickie update: That temperature-sensitive load went to another driver. One skid, it couldn't be easily kept in a container (if it had been possible, I would have done it). It delivered to a farmhouse that lacked refrigeration, so I guess that worked out.
Instead, I got three small boxes of steel fasteners, 615 miles paid. I actually made out better this way, and since steel screws aren't temperature sensitive, no worries.
At home again now.

Five days in KY with no work. I wanted a run and for my sins they gave me one: Grove City PA to Hermiston, OR

Where should I go after that? Thinking about doing the last 275 to Astoria, OR to dip my toes in the Pacific; never been out that far...

Spent the morning at huge flea market in Anderson SC. Found the Beatles White album w/ posters in great condition for my son. Will make a great bday gift.
