Spent the last 2 days with a freind that is leased to a different carrier installing 2 side windows in the box,2 roof vents,1" think foam insulation in the ceiling, that shiny foil bubble wrap vapor barrier stuff, luan wood covering it all, painted the roof with white rust-oleum to keep it cool.It seemed to make a huge difference already, as far as keeping it cooler inside...It was fun doing all of that, even with as hot as it was outside.We had fun poking fun at each other throughout the day.At a shop now, trying to figure out my never-ending problem of the van pulling to the left, brakes applied and even when they are not...nearly everything has been done to it..They replaced the steering box, saying it has more than comfortable amount of play in it..Now, they are pulling the brakes off, checking the bearings and re-packing them, and checking so that the calipers are not hanging up, as well as the pistons in the calipers..Odd thing is, the drivers side rotor read 40 degrees hotter than the right side..Sounds like a bad bearing or caliper to me...
