I came to do laundry, but the rain [after the nap] changed my mind. The cool is sure welcome after the last 2 days!
A load tomorrow would be welcome, too - between getting the AC fixed [DH] and the Expo [more DH] I need to run for a good while now to 'ketchup'.
Got a 30 hr audiobook loaded [politically incorrect American history, lol], I'm ready to go anywhere! :)

Empty in Saline MI..went to sleep at the Ann Arbor TA..if nothing comes from dispatch by this evening, i'll be running the 45 or so miles home to sleep in the bed there...

Wow..gonna be another hot one...just came in from watering and was thinking I'd work on that rock pile the guy that put in the sump pump left on the end of the driveway...no way! Who'd have thought after all my complaining about the cold that I'd avoid the heat? *lol*

I sure hope this last week of July that business picks up..it's way too hot for you guys to be sitting around in those hot old tin cans..at least if you're moving it's got to feel a lot cooler..

so what's the deal with the auto company's shut downs..are they back to work this week?

At the TA in Rock Wall, TX. Delivered first thing this morning in Garland. Then spent the day running around. Went to the Pawn shop, picked up some movies to watch. Went to the Goodwill, picked up some books to read. Went to the Gun Range and did some target shooting. Went to dinner at a mexican place. Now sitting at the TA, just getting some rest and hoping for the next load to come soon. We have been #2 all day now #1 so we should get something in morning hopefully.

Empty in Lapeer Mich after a "butchered" load and a nights layover..no one fault, but it would be nice if shippers provided the weight and dimensions on Every load....

So now its time for dispatch to work their magic...
