Anyone noticed the pilot phone app, completely revamped, and screwed up? I just got off the phone with them. Whoever designed this new app is on some major crack. Chalk another one up for the pilot..

The user reviews of the new Pilot app update are not kind at all. Looks like the ability to quickly find nearby locations, which is one of the most important features, is gone. I've unchecked Auto Update on that one and will wait until they've got the bugs out of it.

Thanks for the heads up on the Pilot App. Still got the old version working, so wont be updating for a while either.
Makes you wonder about the people checking these things before they release them

According to my iphone I have the latest Pilot update from Dec 22. Unless they already removed it. Is this an Android only issue?

Could be (at least for now). The Android update is version 3.0.0 and it's dated July 6.

New screenshots can be seen at the Google Play Store. It looks like they've concentrated more on the new features and kind of let the more important (to drivers) core features be set aside.

You can input your loyalty card and payment card (Comdata, FleetOne, etc.) into the app, and you can start the fueling process from the truck while you're in line. That prevents you from having to scan the cards at the pump and then play 20 Questions. That can all be done before you even pull up to the island. You get a code that lasts for 30 minutes. Plug in the code at the pump and that's it. Get your receipt right on the phone.

There's even a fuel island status that tells you which pump is likely to open up next. That will be of marginal to zero use for most truckers. If every island is full and there's nobody in line at any of them, sure, handy. But if you're second in line at one pump and they all are 3 deep, doesn't matter.

New feature tells you how many available parking spots there are. That's certainly handy for a lot of truckers.

Still can't book a shower from your truck using the app, like you've been able to do at the TA/Petro for about 37 years now.

It is not gas user friendly at all, looking as if it is now geared towards the diesel fuel user.
