It's 10am and humid as heck in toledo.
Walked out to the van around 9:30am in Port Huron and thought the same thing. Yuck, to early to feel like this, made me wish I didn't cancel my plans to get a generator.
That's what I thought. After I came back inside, decided to take a nice cool shower. Home Alone, Mid shower and my burglar alarm goes off, sirens screaming. Near by keypad says Entry Alarm was triggered. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't totally freaked out at this moment.
After some scary investigating with the alarm company on the phone. I gave the all clear.
Turned out to be a bizarre false alarm. Apparently, yesterday when I had an electrician over doing some work. I opened a window blind and window to give him more light. Somehow, I managed to loosen the entry senor on the window enough that today it just feel off, at that moment, triggering the alarm.
After thoughts:
1-Even though it scared the crap out of me, I'm glad I was home to deal with it.
2-In this instance, If I had a gun, I couldn't have got to it.
3-If police would have responded, they may have been a bigger threat to me then a burglar
