#4 cyl coil pack went bad. And they also found bad ball joints, which they find every time it goes into the shop for the last 100,000 miles. But no funny tire wear? So just changed out the coil pack and ready to fish!
Ford and Ball joints What no alignment?....LOL

Didn't get the ball joints done, there's no funny tire wear going on, so I'm not convinced, I'll get it in a real repair shop and have them checked out before I drop $900.00 on getting them done by somebody that I really don't trust.

anyone keeping up on world news?

Alberta....Tarsands literally stalled because of forest fires..smoke as far as my house....production down at least 20%
Alaska....pipeline volume down at least 20 % again....No new drilling as per world prices
Williston ND....Layoffs a plenty no new drilling at this time...as per world prices....@ 50 bucks a barrel we can't get it out of the ground at that rate....

watch for spike in fuel prices shortly as supply dwindles...good thing the stockpile....

Saudis were smart to walk away from the OPEC meetings and not cutting production to support price..they don't have to...the US can not touch their pricing...with the US slowing down and the cuts, the supply will take care of itself prices will increase and the won't cost the Saudi's a cent...smart people...

Now all we need to do is elect leftists who believe gas should cost $8.00 a gallon, and everything will be a-ok...

and just when we are almost oil independent...what do we do?.....increase speed limits and put even more pressure on gas reserves! are you kidding me...its only a small move but in a retrograde direction....is this a US thing to shoot one in the foot?....gee whiz..

Ken, I'm not sure the increase in speed limits is such a bad thing, at least for cars. For you and me, of course; my van loses 4 MPG at 75-80 compared to 65. For a car, it's more of a tradeoff. The average Rapid Citian would gladly lose 2 MPG to save an hour on a once-every-six-month trip to see Grandma in Sioux Falls, no?

my son in laws would not do 80 mph with the kids in the car...no matter...sorry....they are getting to the point that in an emergency situation the regular driver would easily lose control and go into a panic...you've seen the quality of drivers out there?...its disgusting they even passed the test...
