Oh, Witness, you just have little understanding of my sense of humor. Maybe it is to "British" for you. Just tryin to have to fun with this politics stuff.

British humor? Really? Because I am a big fan of British humor, such as, The Young Ones, Monty Python(of course), Ali G, Benny Hill, The Office, Ab Fab(Absolutely Fabulous) among others. I really don't see a resemblence of British humor in your posts:confused:

Maybe Mr. Bean. I don't find him to be very funny or entertaining though.

That is all "commercial" British humor. You have to get into that society, to see "real" British humor. Which can vary greatly by the region of the country you are in. As does the language.

I thought Bean ranked up there with Blackadder but to each their own. I thought it was odd to see House on there.

You can add to the list Shameless, Fawlty Towers, French and Saunders, Fry and Laurie (again with House) and a few others.

Mr Bean aside, how much off topic is this discussion of British humor?

Don't forget "For The Good Life"

Still, all "commercial" humor. Humor in the streets there, as here, is often far different that what is seen on the telly

So like sitting in a pub with a bunch of Brits telling jokes about the people from Wales?

The comedy of the brits, be it BBC style or independent is a reflection of the country from our point of view but we can't see the regional differences within the body of work, hence we don't get what you mean by 'real' because it is real to us.

Michigan humor can vary from Alabama humor somewhat. The differences in regional humor in England is much more diverse. I lived in Yorkshire, their humor was often not understood at all when my Yorkshire friends and I would travel to southern England to trout fish. We all would be cracking up while the locals just stared at us like we were 3 eyed toads.

We here only see a very tiny example of "British Humor".

So what does this have to do with Huntsman or the guy/gal you are trying to make us guess who it is?

Nothing, it just morphed. I also cannot MAKE anyone guess. I was HOPING to stir some "out of the box" thinking. All I ever see is retread politicians names being bantered about.

It is just SO boring seeing the same old names, day in and day out.

Then we will rehash the same same arguments about them AGAIN. Retreaded as they are.

Here's a thought. Start your own thread for your guessing game.

He is still working.

Obama has been running since the day he was elected. He as done nothing but campaign. That is ALL Obama knows how to do.

The press will do their best to reelect him. A month or so won't matter. Obama can be beaten and a little time right now does not matter.

Post 15: LOS stated his sense of humor is 'maybe too British' to be understood.
Now he's redefining British humour as 'noncommercial', as opposed to what everyone else in the entire world believes it is,[because I said his humour is nothing like the British.]
But hey - if you were enjoying the attempt to guess what's in his head, carry on, I'm done now.
