Its alway a safe bet that I and i know most others in this forum trust what dispatch does and the reasons they do it...I know without a doubt that most of us are more then willing to sit and wait for Load 1 to get the loads that will pay us and the company as we all are use to and worth..Thanks John & dispatch....Its easy to sit and wait knwing the best are doing their best...

Bingo. That's what it is all about. It's about the money, not the miles.Amazing how many are brainwashed into "I'm not getting enough miles".....lol..I'm sure we can get more miles that we can handle, if our rates were in the toilet, but why ***** ourselves out? We're better than that, here. And besides, a person gets what they pay for.Ever see a high-end car on a rollback?hardly ever.Dependability and reliability has a price, along with peace of mind.

There are a lot of people in this business who get paid a flat rate per mile rather than a percentage of the load. Panther contractors, for example, have a contracted rate per mile. For those on who get paid a flat rate, miles and money are the exact same thing in the context of revenue and "not getting enough". There is no brainwashing on their part, but rather ignorance on the part of those who laugh at them for referring to reality.

What I'm saying Turtle, is that it is amazing how many are not aware of their cost per mile, or their expenses, etc, to determine their profit per mile.Although they may get paid on a mile basis, can they honestly say they are getting a true $1.00 per mile, when they have not figured in their deadhead to get the load into the equation? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out at all.Strangely enough, I didn't see where I was laughing at them for thinking the way they do, as I used to think the same way not too long ago.Been there, done that.

Good Morning all....van rocking winds, blinding rain...nasty T storms right now....

Morning all....truck rocking is making my daily waltz with Matilda interesting. First cup going down. Radar shows this rain will be around for a bit. Freezing rain in WI, snow behind that. :(
