Well the figures are in.... I finished 2014 $8.00 ahead of 2013!

Did final Oil change of year 2014....took the mileage...

10,000 miles more, $5,000 less then '13...not a great year....so goes the business...:)

That's the reason I had to stop and think. With the trucking companies taking expedite freight, and more people seeing expedite as "easy money," I'm looking to follow the bux. Trucking rates maybe stable, or slightly up, but the company driver rates have gone up significantly from when I got my cdl, 20 years ago. I see it as a good place to save up some money, and broaden my horizons for future plans.

I dunno... working harder and smarter, I guess. :)

I'd like to hear DaveKC's synopsis of his whole 2013 vs 2014 truck average.
