Had to leave Lardeo...so I deadheaded down here to Edinburg...their were 25+ up in Laredo...So I came down here and there are only 2 and me...

We are sitting in a motel room in Kelso, WA. About 40 miles north of Portland, OR. We are pre-dispatched for Monday headed to L.A. The best part is that our granddaughter lives HERE!!! So, we are awaiting her arrival NOW!! We hope to get to spend most of the weekend with her. Gotta love this business!!!

Dropped here in Watertown NY.....went to a great Italian place for dinner...if you are up here make sure to stop at the "Fairgrounds Inn" Great Italian food, the the cold tolerable, and lord is it cold...-12 right now and headed lower....the only good thing is it is too cold to snow...that is coming sunday---6-8 inches on the way!! I WILL be out of here before that gets here, loaded or not!!!

E 157 at the Petro on I69...just picked my 3rd load of the day...did 2 shorties. going to MS for a Monday drop.
With the amount of vans down there I'd drop and run for the hills...
There are 12 cargo vans that I can see in the Dallas area. I double these numbers to account for equipment I cant see.
Fourty some... in Laredo area (all sizes-double that number also)
Twenty some in Houston (all sizes, double it also)

Stay warm all night in the van in -18* temps with NO windchill factored in in Watertown last night. DH'd out this morning when it was -12* and headed to the current *8 temps of Corfu NY, no other CV's here.....Time for lunch, got a little bit of beef veggie soup in the frig, seems like good weather for that!!

Currently 11 Alliance units listed within 50 miles. That doesn't account for companies that don't list their units on there, so there are probably close to 20.

Well i DH'd a bit too far... have to run back to Waterloo NY and pu a load going to Toledo Oh. on Monday AM....ill run to toledo this evening and spend the weekend at home!!
hmmmm...good thing i was planning on going to Toledo tonight. Dispatch just called and changed my delivery time to 5 am Sunday morning.....makes a darn good week even better pay wise that is....

Jeez, ChefDennis, I've been following your runs compared to others, riding along in your imaginary passenger seat. You've scooted around this country so much lately that I darn near got
a whiplash, and nearly fell out of my seat. You keep driving, I'll tighten my seatbelt and hang on!!

Its that darn cheesecake he takes over to the office on his way to Chicago but "somehow" he never makes it there without getting a load enroute...imagine the luck?
what I mean about mind made up...when I drop Monday morning in West Point Ms. I am going right back up 45 to Jackson..I am betting I won't make it there without getting a load first....
