Oh the joys of semi retirement
the ease and warmth of home
Until the blahs of February
will make me want to roam

The frosted trees and icy roads
the huge drifts of snow
It's nice when your toes are toasty
and you don't have to mow

The catalogs of seeds
are piling by my chair
As the winter pastime
of planning my garden fair

Looking in my kitchen
for recipes tried and true
The smell of homemade bread
makes me start anew

And yes the quilts are calling
that they do need to be made
and on that happy note
I'll go and start my day!

Jay's my man.He's awesome always got a kick out of him.Those poems you write JuJuBeans, are awesome as well.A poem about life out here as a van expeditor would be great!Still here in Dallas, along with everyone else.Only 1 got out yesterday,not good.Going to Hooters for dinner with another freind that unloaded here this morning.Should be interesting.Anyone from EO here at the J?

took anonther short run, Steele, Ala to Russellville Ala...pay was good... sittin at the Pilot in Decatur Ala for the night if nothing comes up ill head for Nashville for the weekend...few good steakhouses up there so the weekend wouldn't be a total loss....

Just back from Rapid City, SD. What a painful trip that was. My co driver wouldn't drive in snow. :mad:

Sitting empty at the TA west of Columbus, Ohio.
