Picked up in Dayton Oh, delivered to Louisville KY...dumped the Alternator in Florence Ky. Got it fixed at a Great family owned shop just around the corner from the water tower!! If any of you vanners break down on the area, "Saylor's Automotive" took great care of me...got me in as soon as i got there because i was loaded...took a mechanic off of a job to get him on my van, and he had it checked out and taken apart before the part got there...i was back on the road in less then 90 minutes....price was better then i expected and they were great to work with.....

you can contact them at 859-525-3031 days, 859-240-9083 nights, 7670 Burlington Pike Florance Ky...

Mods if the above info is not ok, place remove it.....but they are just around the corner from the EO office, on the other side of the "water tower"......:D

I had exhaust in the cab...figured it was an injector seal...was going by a Sprinter dealer in Burlington NC with a load to Durham and had time..it was about 8am...stopped in and tech was having his start up coffee....ya know them southern boys are born with a wrench in their hand..*lol* was in and out in 35 -40 minutes...was an injector seal and under a 100 bucks!!

Chit happens to even Sprinters...it is all timing and luck!

Still hanging around the cargo van convention at the J in Laredo. Back in December when the Sprinter van was frozen and fuel gelled up I got it fixed in about 90 minutes in Jamestown ND, I called Buffalo City Diesel and they came out towed me in to their shop and started working right away to get me thawed out they were very friendly and fast and they didnt charge me as much as I was fearing they would charge the total bill with the towing(the owner of the shop used his pickup truck to tow my empty sprinter) was only $112.00 , I was expecting alot higher bill than that

sounds like last week in whiteland. 2 sprinters and one cv then 1 sprinter and 2 cv.

back in service. gracie got a smaller cast on the arm yesterday. this one goes to the elbow and not around the elbow. back here in 2 weeks for another x ray. in the meantime it is on-the-road-again.

Guy at Ceva told me he spends $350 for oil changes on his Sprinter and $1200 for brakes. I'm thinking he needs a new repair shop and is getting taken:eek:

Ceva must pay pretty well...have to get me some of that..*L*

No, Ceva doesn't pay really well, but they do pay decent. He is one that doesn't mind staying out months at a time and also sittin and waiting for loads. He was complaining about how much is Sprinter was costing him, plus he has a hefty payment on it near what I lease my truck for. So to say he isn't very business savvy.....
