Made it into downtown DC on time. Drove straight through and of course, no one was there to receive the freight! Sat in the alley and watched the rats running around. Was a dead end alley but at least there were no bodies laying there. Just one homeless guy sleeping on a sheet of cardboard and the rats. Moved from downtown over to the Jessup TA. Awake now and ready to roll. Never got stopped by authorities even being unmarked van sitting for hours in a downtown alley.
After the holiday weekend, then waiting for some parts for my truck, had a load of furniture going to coulchester VT, now waiting up here for another load, sitting at a rest stop on I89 no pilots anywhere close, at least they have free wifi here....
Made it home! It ALWAYS feels SO good to pull into that driveway!
We will try it one more day and see what happens!! Hopefully Fri will produce something
