Ran from San Francisco to San Diego Monday night. Was a hoot, L.A. I-5, seven lanes, very little traffic. Had a load offer to Brooklyn, NY, crazy but it sounded good(California thinking?). Didn’t work out, thank goodness.

Right now I'd be all over that too. I've survived am drops in Brooklyn twice now, not that bad

Now straight from Cali,

We have dropped twice on Long Iland, am was fine, getting out was a test of bladder control. Was good weather for those trips, forecast is grim right now.

Loaded yesterday out of Simi Valley, CA for Ridgeville, SC, drops Monday morning. Day tripping!
Was going to ride I-40 but they closed it, Kingman, AZ. Hopefully the southern route will hold up.

Oddly, it's my local city tax that brought me to a stand still. And of course their closed on the weekend to answer questions

Kind of surprising, but not totally. 1st year I can remember that I didn't stay in a motel at all.
