I can understand a Company asking a O\O or driver to came in and have their rig inspected & go over Company policy after 30 days, but to ask someone to sit through 2-3 days of Orientation is ridiculous.
If the ICC and a Carrier feel a drivers skills erode so much in thirty days of sitting why not keep track of the days at home, in a truck stop, in a Super market parking lot and pull the driver in for Orientation when ever a total of 30 days sitting has accumulated.
If you have been reading some Posts in the last few months, their are people saying they have been sitting darn close to 30 days. So have they lost their skills from sitting at a "J" instead of their house?

Heheheh .... good one Richard.i would say that they have lost there business skills then, and that would be more detrimental to there business than having to worry about redoing orientation
