Maybe you have a point ! Especially if I had to deals with people like you often LOL

But actually it is not a hard industry to get into and its actually fun and I enjoy it myself. And The driver I have hired seems pretty good and now have another great candidate also that lives about 2 hours away so as the other person said awhile back with time all will come together.

Until then I am fine I own some rental property, And have cash saved up to survive if needed, and heck 3 weeks out of the month I run my van so that is a little extra money for me.

So with that said. Moot I could care less what your opinions are ok. Because honestly I know where and how I stand as a man in life and thats all that matters to me ! LOL

You never know maybe one day you can drive a truck for me ok.

After reading your various posts I have to wonder what your definition of reality is.

Maybe you should rack up some expediting experience before becoming a fleet owner.

I assure you that Moot will never drive for you. You are way to small for him....

idtrans,
You remind me of another person who is in the midsts of a saga.

This guy has a vw 'bus', he has been living in it and he is going to travel a bit, his goal is to end up in Costa Rica for some ungodly reason (understood it was Costa Rica is conducive to his lifestyle).

He has a little mechanical knowledge but says the bus leaks oil and thinks it is alright to plan his trip with an oil leak. He has little money and speaks no Spanish. He just learned that past northern Mexico, bus parts may be a little ... ok impossible to get. He thinks that being a Gringo in a VW bus will be ok but you know it will be a miracle that the guy makes it to Costa Rica with the bus let alone alive.

It is simple, many of us been there and done that - both recruiting people to drive for us and driving VWs across central America. The problem is you want people like Moot with you. It is their experience, their ability to actually be more than a steering wheel holders to make money in the long run.

But unless you know the business, understand how to shift things to other parts of the industry to hedge a downturn and find work in those area, it may be a miracle that you survive, let alone pay off your trucks.

Finding people to drive is hard, sometimes it is better to make them employees, contract with an Air forwarding company and do regional work.

Good luck.

We will just have to see now won't we ! LOL

But In the long run so far I have never failed at anything I do maybe this will be my first !

All I can say is you all sound a little jealous that I am entering the expeditor industry like a storm !

It's easy yes I am a semi driver at heart since I have so many miles driving semi. And many of you are van drivers and thats where it is at even on the roads its a battle between the trucks.

At the end of the day we are all doing the same thing sleeping in a motorized vehicle and getting cargo from point a to b and the main difference is we get it there way faster than a semi and in a smaller weight.

So we will just have to see where I end up true maybe I will go back to semis LOL heck I can hand my trucks to panther and let them run them for me or any of those other large outfits.

BTW as far as paying off my debt not a issue just signed off selling a old warehouse I had here for ages that I purchased in a tx sale from the city for $900 and it made me some nice cash now I can go get a couple more vans to operate LOL if I am going to fail lets do it big time LMAO

BTW vw buses are cool !

Oh, so because you drove a semi you are much better than many of us that drive vans?
What's next? Your $%^# is bigger than ours?

You must see something here I don't. Could you quote a post that supports your statement?
He's confusing the voicing of a reality, that he doesn't want to see, with jealousy. Happens all the time. Won't take long for reality to sink in, tho. That happens all the time, too.
