That's the attitude.
Now in my case, I really only drive for myself, unless you count each broker and shipper as my employer, which is kind of the case. The other day when I delivered a load, the security guy looked at the sign on my van which just has my name and he asked me, "Who do you drive for?" I replied, "Myself." He gave me another weird look and asked what company I was leased to and I told him the company name was on the side of the van. He said, "But that's your name." I then said, "I am the company." It was quite an amusing conversation, but he finally got it. I've applied for a business name and as soon as the state of Ohio approves it, I'll have to change my signs and take care of that little problem.
Are you telling what your new company name will be?

Your actually in Sturbridge and it's one of the nations tourist spots! If you go about 1 mile further north you will come to Sturbridge Village which consist of colonial era homes, shops and other tourist sites. Shopping malls, rests., theaters, etc. It's actually a great place to be "stuck" in. Amazing; only a mile away and you'ld think your in another world!
aawwwww .... well ..... im afraid to even move across the parking lot......
cause i might get punished and get bumped down the boards....
im 1st on there ...... was 3rd when i got here fri nite.
and i can not figure out how to disconect the QC...... i might mess it up anyways *sigh*

If you want to disable the QC just kill the power to it ,it cant track you with no power.........

From the Pilot go north 1 mile and your in tourist world; shopping, rests., theaters, and a recreater colonial era village with shops and "taverns". Great place to be "stuck" in.

Hey there MorningStar, One of the first things you need to do is call panther, (if you can get anyone to answer the phone on the weekend) and ask them to check and see how many other ST are in the area or 50 to 100 miles near you. you may be the only one there and worring about nothing. If no one is close to you, your free to go where ever.

I'm not with the cat, but I don't understand: Your on the "east" Sudbury, Mass. board, number 1 position. You should be able to move from the Boston area up to 50 miles north/south/west without any change in your position. Could someone explain why someone would be victimized for moving a few miles?

and according to the way the boards read on line.... there r 2 other trucks besides me
and its telling me ... there 2 solo's me being one of them and 1 team....
all D units...
now where them other 2 trks r . is beyond me.... cause i sure dont see no panther trucks here ......

Seems you started this biz a bit late to enjoy the spot you are in. That used to be a neat place to be for a layover. That front building housed an excellent restaurant wit a brew pub attached. Leave it to Pilot, or nuther corp to screw up a good thing for anuther fuel stop. Must be a real good biz.... sling'in that fuel these days.

well thats good to know...... but its like already 6 pm .....and i got a couple more movies.... and i paintd some rocks i had ..... lol

Call Safety and ask them to show you how to use line 5 time on your QC. It allows you to drive wherever you need to go as long as your driving time does not pass 30 minutes. At 31 minutes the system will automatically put you into On Duty Driving time and start the countdown on your 11 hrs of drive time as well as your 14 hr clock. You may use all 30 minutes at once, or you may drive to the movies (or wherever), go to Off Duty, and then drive wherever you wish as long as you don't exceed 30 minutes drive time.

I remember that restaurant. Good food! It's a shame it's gone, like the Giant down in Gallup, NM... also taken over by Pilot along with Grandma Screwjob's restaurant.
