If I had a car or truck that qualified and was thinking about getting a vehicle in the near future, I'd be all over the $4500

If you don't like war and had clearence would you refuse goverment freight? How about if you do not like how walmart treats their emloyees would you not haul somthing for them? What about coal fired power plants, hauling to canada if your against free trade?

Yes OVM, I would. IF I KNEW what the freight. That IS how a MAN who has the COURAGE of HIS CONVICTIONS would act. BETTER yet, I WOULD put them on my truck and take them somewhere where they would be protected from the Nazi's who would experiment on them.

It is illegal to take blind freight...unless there is an exemption for security reasons where they can omit info on a BOL.

Defending innocent life is NOT a crime, killing it is. As stated in another post. There is MAJOR difference between legal and moral. I WILL ALWAYS choose the MORAL rout and I really just don't give a hoot whan ANYONE thinks about that attitude. IT IS RIGHT!! Nothing else matters. COURAGE of CONVICTIONS!!

Speaking ONLY in the case that is being talked about now, a rescue. AGAIN, I STATE, I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE MORAL OVER LEGAL. Why is that concept so hard for you to grasp? There are things that are far MORE important that legal. Moral people with the COURAGE OF THEIR CONVICTIONS can understand that. I AM thankful that I will most likely never be placed in that position but I KNOW what I would do.
It is NO differnet than the time when I dis-obeyed a DIRECT ORDER in basic training. I was RIGHT, the order WAS WRONG so I ACTED in the proper manner. I WAS vindicated in that case but it would have made NO difference to me. I WILL NOT go against my moral beliefs.
It is a shame that you cannot understand the concept. It is VERY basic. A MAN stands for what he believes in or is NOT a MAN.

Only prior to picking them up, IF they were on my truck I WOULD protect them.

Nope. You see Rocket, there are ONLY TWO people on the entire face of this earth that I HAVE to answer to, that is my wife and myself. NO one else matters. I have to be true to my convictions. My wifes and my convictions are the same. That is WHY we married, same goals, convictions AND BELIEFS!! That is WHY we have STAYED married for OVER 36 years. We are a TEAM and we BOTH will STAND FIRM on our convictions and beliefs. I don't give a "Rats Butt" what the government says IF it at odds with those beliefs. That IS how it IS.
