Well folks, here's a pic of me and my Freightshaker.(spring ride, bouncy bouncy) If you ever see me out there on the road, feel free to stop by. I'm always up for a good chat. Unless i'm getting my 10 hours back in the bunk. I like having a truck that looks a little diffrent than most. However i'm not sure how much longer I can put up with the small bunk. Sorry about the bad facial expression, it's hard to hold a smile when you are looking into the sun. See you all out there. I'm working on getting my keester into a better ride eventually, if i do I'll post an update.:) :)

Ha Ha Ha wisea**, no that's kind of a leftover from my days of running the doubles and unhooking every 30 minutes, you just had to have gloves on at all times. Plus the pair I have on were given to me the day my dad sold his peterbilt and similar to the ones I remeber my grandfather wearing in his ford when he still ran the roads. Just an old family tradition I suppose.

Hope the gloves help you avoid eating the junk food that adds size to some drivers - cause with that sleeper, you can't afford to gain an ounce, lol. :p Great photo, though, thanks for posting it. :)

Cheri, skinny is a must with this thing. You cant have alot of stuff aboard either. Sitting for a weekend can make you go batty. My owner is a great guy, and I love the overall setup we have, but this truck is really starting to test my patience. I don't wanna switch owners and end up with a bad deal like a couple of my friends here at Panther have. However, buying a truck with my credit and lack of cash is a death sentence. It's an improvement over the van, but this is his first straight truck, so I know he kind of took a gamble on it, but It's discouraging to see company solos with 70 inch plus bunks that are just starting out, when i stay out 6 weeks at a time, and only take 3 days off in between. I think i'm a good driver, and do everything i can to be the best i can be, but I expect it return.

Well, we are all newbies to some degree, and i more meant that as someone that the owner just hired and hasn't seen how they run and don't know if investing in good equipment for them is going to pay off. Nice ride, my buddy Kerry runs something similar to that. Heard great things about TS as well.

I'm pretty sure you were going the opposite direction 2 or 3 weeks ago but can't remember where. Your truck looks too familiar so I must have seen you on the highway. I'll be watching for you now. I'm in a darker red KW. I wish I'd thought about them putting gold on the cab and I'd have asked for the gold box decals too.

Just looking at that bunk gives me flashbacks to first truck I drove. An 87 Mitsubishi Cabover extended cab. Yep, 24 inch bunk, for a NON 24 inch wide guy..LOL... I feel for ya man, good thing you're a smaller guy!

>i'm not sure i'd consider 6'4" 240 lbs. to be small.

They've been good to me. I drew up a buisness plan, and even with some of my slower weeks, I should still be able to cover payments. I like the support and assistance Panther has given me while getting this idea rolling. BTW, the truck is even nicer when you consider I paid a lot less than the buy it now that he had set.

Congrats! Nice looking truck, and good price. I hope it works out good for you.The bigger sleeper will be a huge difference for you, night and day.. as they say. it will now be much easier for you to stay out.

Good luck!

Congratulations Dieselphreak! Looks like a nice truck and a good price. Is there anything better feeling than getting your 1st truck? Keep us updated and may PantherII run your butt off.
