I can't wait to actually stand up in my sleeper!!!!! It'll be nice to actually be able to cook too. I'm glad I got a doble bunk, because a friend of mine that I've known since 9th grade wants to start a team. Things are falling into place! Thank you to all of EO for the kind words and support!!! A little update.
I have so far,
rewired all the running lights,
mounted more on the front bumper,
fixed the box walls(bowing out),
sandblasted and painted frame and box hinges,
repainted headlight buckets,
laid new carpet and padding,
re-wired cb power terminals,
replaced clutch brake,
and had to re-seal the Fantastic vent.
It seems like alot of work, but the truck was a steal, and I'm a stickler for details. Give me a truck that's worthy of show-winning polish, and it'll shine. Pics soon. Would the fridge that comes standard in a 72" bentz and a small microvave be too much for a 1700 watt (peak of like 2500) inverter?

Dieselphreak,i believe that your fridge is not part of the inverter setup.not sure what bentz is using,but our alumijunk has a 12 volt fridge.so just the microwave and your electrical outlets should be the only thing connected to the inverter.

Well, you are correct, the fridge is a 12 volt. I just can't seem to run the microwave without hearing my inverter scream. I have 3 starting batteries on one side, and a larger one on the other side. I'm not sure if the batteries, or isolators, or alternator, or whatever is bad. Either way, I cant run the fridge all night without idling, or I need a jump in the AM. I'm going to take it into my buddy's shop today and see what I can figure out.
