Load-1 dispatches Sprinter to Nashville Music Hall. Freight is to be delivered to Life Chest booth 1653.
When driver arrived, to his surprise, it was not a music event. Seems the event was the National Funeral Director's event show. The Driver made his delivery and told the gentleman that it was time for him to be shoveling off.

From the J off I-45 in Houston, take a right and head south along the frontage road for not even half a mile (second right, I think) and on the right you'l find the National Museum of Funeral History. It's gnarly. They have a surprising number of vehicles of all kinds, including the Pope Mobile (they have a really large collection of stuff from the Vatican). And of course, caskets and stuff, including a large presidential exhibit. There's one casket made of money so you can literally take it with you. It's like $10 to get in, and it's bigger than you'd think - about 35,000 square feet. It's a way to kill an afternoon in Houston.

Hopefully everyone is having a good weekend. Pretty darn nice outside. Time to do stuff to get the house ready for winter. Hate seeing summer end. So not looking forward to this winter :(

Well, we just had a first in 15 years of expediting. A load picking up tomorrow and delivering of all places to, Mattoon, Il. We have had loads out of home before but never one going in. Took it just to see what it feels like. LOL

Make sure you spell it right when entering the city in the GPS.
