Hey John, can you clarify om the QC message from Fleet Mgmt. The oil changes is a no brainer. Shouldnt be doing those on a truck in the lot. The part about maintenance is what needs clarified. does that mean we cant change an alternator or a belt or service our generators or the multitude of small repairs and maintenance items we need to do or can do by ourselves. Just thought i would have you address this cause the fleet mssg is pretty cut and dry. If thats the way it is, fine, just wanted to ask. Thanks !!

What happens if there is an accident and 30 or 40 qts, of oil are dumped on the lot !!!!!

No I don't have a problem with other maint items in general. Although sadly we have had to get drivers medical attention and also had to clean up after some so we do have exposure or risk. The oils change issue is due to the fact that we keep finding oil spills. One it helps to break down the asphalt, the second is the possible drain run off EPA issue.
Imagine that??? And people not cleaning up after themselves too??? God knows the trash barrels and dumpsters are so few and far between out there.

I'm pretty sure that with the driving I did today, the tires being replaced corrected the problem of my van taking me for a ride un-announced at any given time from lane to lane. All better now. It must of been a bad tire somewhere, and I suspect in the rear...Belle made it right..And still no cigarettes since April 5th! Time to get back to making money now...
