Seriously took like 25 try's before I finally got it in the dock. The agreement before with my trainer was you do your best I'll tell you if you are about to hit something. Boy do I wanna get better at backing lol

My experience, is after the second or third try , get out of the truck and survey the situation from the ground. Then take several deep breaths of air.

so was this a test on your trainers part or you had no choice but to blindside?...
I had a choice but for some dumb reason my brain thought I could do it. My trainer probably just wanted me to learn to asses the situation and make the best choice. Which I failed to do because of my lack of experience, I think he wanted to have one of those teaching moments lol.

my teacher said to me when you miss the hole shot just pull out and recircle, take a breathe and start over....nothing harder then trying to move over an inch or 2....LOL

Some times there will be tire marks or ruts, that you can use to help judge your position, when backing into a dock.

You will get better at backing into docks. Like most everything, the more you do it the better you will get.
