A cargo came to my dads factory today and was picking up two skids to take from Berea KY to Laredo TX. I don't know what the weight was but he showed my dad his paperwork and the entire load only pays $925 including fuel. That seems cheap to me or am I just out of the loop?

That's 70 cents a mile all in for 1304 paid miles. I wouldn't move my wheels for that rate. He probably will get 50 cents to come out. Not good in my book. Then we wonder why they complain they don't make any money. There's your answer.

I thought that was too low because that's a 1300-1500 mile load. If I got that load as a company driver that'd be epic but not as a owner op in a van

Two long runs made for a great week, but not helping me get over this cold or what ever I got. Going back into hibernation now.

Took almost 50 years of living in Michigan, but finally, (thanks to a load p/u), can say I've been to michigan's upper Peninsula
