got bored, went home 300 miles............home an hour got sat rush job to indy...........was it worth it, you tell me, im getting ready to take the summer off to do concerts in a few weeks

Woke up to freezing rain on the windows.........it's been so long that it's rained I couldn't figure out what it was at first..Looks like the hubby is gonna get some snow.

Have you checked your weather this morning?

Man I thought I was a dedicated gardener until I looked on FB this morning and I have a neighbor that is planting 200 pounds of potatos! and getting 50 pounds more!

Just finished planting tomato seeds. Going to try this idea for supporting them...


Planted cukes and greasy beans in peat pots. I don't like those things, as they suck up all the water, as soon as I pour it in, leaving the ground hard and dry.

That looks like a great idea.. We use a really heavy duty tall peony cage and they work pretty good...

That looks like a great idea.. We use a really heavy duty tall peony cage and they work pretty good...

I don't know if you've ever seen him on youtube... the Bayou Gardener. His tomatoes get so big down there, he uses concrete welded wire mesh for cages. If the trellis fails, I'm going to try the welded wire. These dinky cages just don't work for me.
