Aaronrocker, you remind me of a 'know it all' kid that was in the same orientation with. He knew it all.........Think he was a whopping 21 or 22 yrs. old with what he claimed 'all these years of experience in a big truck'. Couldn't even have a conversation with the kid, he knew it all, done it all. He'd actually fall asleep during class. Let's see, he didn't make it thru his first load, jacked the truck around to sharp and creased the side of the sleeper with the trailer. Needless to say he's not with the company anymore..........Didn't surprise anyone at all.
So, with all your experience and 'know how' good luck. Go out and set the expediting world on fire! Write a book while your at it so we all can read it and learn what we've been doing wrong all these years. Good luck with your 0/0 with all that 'elite freight'. And the Hino......
If you have all the experience you say you do, why are you on here asking what company to go with???
HHHHHHHMMMMMMMMM wonder why as you claim "your last owner didn't pay you".....late delivery charges???? High load offer refusals??? Using the truck as your own personal RV maybe?????
As far as throwing a cheap shot at DaveKC, he's one of the most respected people on EO. What he says you can take to the bank! He won't sugar coat anything or tell you what you want to hear. Sounds like he hit a raw nerve with you just from telling it like it is and not what you wanted to hear.
Again Good Luck, with your attitude, you deserve whatever comes your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, when all the real expidtors blow the doors off your 'beautiful Hino" give them a wave and try to stay out of the way. When your in a shop in Po-Dunk nowhere getting repairs go to the restuarant and offer a real expeditor a cup of java.......he'd probably appreciate it.....Shake his hand when you transfer your 'elite load' onto his truck because your broke down somewhere...................
