Why are they secret? Others post down to the sheet metal used.Perhaps Gregg is on to something.

Rich,
I am following on the path that other great expediters have forged for all of us.

As I am told posting my numbers as secret numbers means that when I pull into a truck stop I will not get mobbed for an autograph. You know having a great truck is hard to handle at times.

As for the specs, Oh I am working that with pictures. I spent a lot of money on film for the digital camera and have somewhere around 300 pictures. Some pictures are just your general like the hinge for the sleeper exit but others are more detailed, I finally got the picture of the bolt head under the sleeper between the battery box and the left fuel tank - what a pain that was with the extra lights and wedging the camaera between the battery box and fuel tank.

I found out yesterday what brand rivets were used on the sleeper and added that to the spec sheet that will be posted on my world class website.

I am getting from D-C the specs of the metal used on the base truck and talked to the engineers at Carrier about component level list of my reefer unit. I added the seat material information, foam and vinyl but the frame manuafacture I assume is Lear so I will go to their HQ later today.

Cummins has been real helpful, they will send me a lot of information about the ISC and even include a engineering history of the engine. I got the name of the supplier of the cam gears and the cam followers - wrote to them this morning for specs.

I haven't heard from Kidron, need to know about the box insulation, I need to add what insulation they used was for the box. I got the hinge manufacture name off the hinge and got about 8 pictures of the hinge and the material used for the hinges added to the spec sheet. I could not find who made the bolts but I guess once I get a dialog open with Kidron, that will be avalible.

I know I will be missing something but I will make additions to the spec sheet once it is posted on the webstie.

I am wondering more about the film for the digital camera. I have heard you can use that film to take invisible pictures.

Did Halliburton tell you to keep every thing secret, or was it some team?

No not exactly, I took my marching orders from the RNC, Lockheed Martin and Halliburton through a committee that also controls talk radio.

Are your contacts flying into Detroit for a joint meeting?

Yes they are and do most of the time they fly in on either air force one or in black planes. Some are the super secret engineers who are helping me with my special FedEx stealth docking system and also have been advising me on the modifications to the engine to get 2000 hp out of it. I can’t forget to thank NASA for their help.

I am wondering more about the film for the digital camera. I have heard you can use that film to take invisible pictures.

Yes I can take invisible pictures, but also I can take pictures with x-ray film I got from the same place I got my x-ray glasses.

Just a FYI note for IRS purposes... It's not a camera...It is a accident investigation kit!!!

Yep you are so right.

Gregg, While I anxiously await the release of The Spec Sheet for your truck, I am somewhat disappointed that it would seem that only half the story is being told here. Have you thought to publish a directory of the campgrounds you utilize and the services they provide so that in hopes we may be able to view your truck?

Also the complete package would be to add your bio here so the rest of us can view your accomplishments, awards, achievements, accolades, pat on the backs, and congratulatory "great job" told to you by a co-worker stories? Please inform us of pending publish dates also.

I am still working on the spec book for my truck. Right now I am sending out samples of the insulation and carpeting to determine what type it is. I hope not to disappoint anyone.

As for a directory, the only service directory I am willing to compile is one for dump stations. I am not taking the 'vacation' route with my business and remodeling the sleeper and truck to maximize space and minimize pleasures - meaning seeing the grand canyon from my bunk window is not needed to produce revenue.

I have a bio on the site, but I haven't added much content to it. I have only ten pages (typed single space) of awards and accolades, I know this sound like very little but I can't remember all of it. I have to write up the rest if that is what my fans want. Also I stopped publishing under my real name a while ago and won't complete that novel any time soon. My disaster recovery training material will be revised in Febuary and the holder of the copyright will only publish it inhouse.

Greg, What would your opinion be on possibly starting your own organization. If I can throw out an idea...
E.G.O. Expediting's Great Owners and the Mobiles they drive.

My only concern would be that it can be confused with an Eggo which as everyone knows is the tasty frozen waffle we cook in our toaster.
Do you foresee this to be an issue?

Maybe we could hold elections and whoever wins could be the Head ASSociate. Just an idea.

Perhaps a day could be set aside for all Expediters to meet at the Iowa 80. We could all form a HUGE cicle and spend the afternoon patting each other on the back!!:+ :+

I hope you consider charging admission to view the final product. Additional fees of course would be incurred if photos are taken.
I just hope there aren't too many bookings for an appointment.
Got my glasses!

Have you done any research on the rear axle components and gear ratio's? I hear the best steel to use on your proprietery shaft is T-31950 or 440 grade stainless. Also my contact at N.A.S.A. says that the typical 10% bevel on the drive gears is inadequate. At 11% you reduce the drag co-efficient by .397% thereby reducing the back-pressure to your ehaust manifold allowing your E.G.R. valve to burn off more C.O.2 rather than releasing it into the atmosphere, which my good friend Al Gore says, will annialate the planet. And as an environmentalist, i'm against that!
