we also need to know about your last 15-20 career posts and all of your major accomplishments and awards that you received before you decided to leave all that and become a successful expediter.

OK I have added what I could to the long list of a successful career. I have most of my awards and accomplishments listed but I have a problem trying to determine the proper way to put on paper my Nobel prizes in Literature and Economics without sounding too important to mankind.

and then will you please tell us exactly how to do our job so we can make as much money as you?

Oh of course, I feel I can help you make it better.... for me.

I love this thread..... Ahh, the amusement...

I am glad I didn’t start this thread but I am enjoying it because of the attention.

Greg, What would your opinion be on possibly starting your own organization. If I can throw out an idea...
E.G.O. Expediting's Great Owners and the Mobiles they drive.

My only concern would be that it can be confused with an Eggo which as everyone knows is the tasty frozen waffle we cook in our toaster.
Do you foresee this to be an issue?

I will take this under consideration, the name is acceptable but I feel that the Eggo controversy would not be more than any EGO member could handle. All I can say is… hey who took my Eggo?

Maybe we could hold elections and whoever wins could be the Head ASSociate. Just an idea.

Yes that would also be considered, I think that a democratic solution would be the only way to go as long as I control the process.

Perhaps a day could be set aside for all Expediters to meet at the Iowa 80. We could all form a HUGE cicle and spend the afternoon patting each other on the back!!

Oh of course but I think maybe two days will have to be scheduled but I would also suggest a couple of my favorite vacation places, either the Ritz over looking central park or Zug island. The former, my fans will have to pay for.

I hope you consider charging admission to view the final product. Additional fees of course would be incurred if photos are taken.
I just hope there aren't too many bookings for an appointment.
Got my glasses!

Well I decided to hire a PR firm to handle the scheduling of the tour, they think they could sell to capacity. I was told that I may be teamed with other celebrities and got a call from this guy name Giuliani asking if he could tag along on the tour. I am undecided because I think it may tarnish the excitement of the truck and me with someone who is not well known. I also am in the process of putting together a speaking tour about the benefits of having a great truck, I understand that this is pre-booked to April.

Have you done any research on the rear axle components and gear ratio's? I hear the best steel to use on your proprietery shaft is T-31950 or 440 grade stainless. Also my contact at N.A.S.A. says that the typical 10% bevel on the drive gears is inadequate. At 11% you reduce the drag co-efficient by .397% thereby reducing the back-pressure to your ehaust manifold allowing your E.G.R. valve to burn off more C.O.2 rather than releasing it into the atmosphere, which my good friend Al Gore says, will annialate the planet. And as an environmentalist, i'm against that!

Well I have top engineers who in conjunction with the scientist from MIT and Stanford advising me. NASA was rather disappointing because they wanted to wind tunnel the truck all the time and that interfered with the schedule for the photo shoots. I was given some special black paint where the people at Princeton that they claim scares the wind away to make the truck more aerodynamic.

Now I also must add that I have been talking to U of M about the metal content used in the components of the truck. The U of M crowd has some ins’ with the Military and I am supposed to get some of this special metal from this place in southern Nevada to reduce the weight of the truck. They said it was out of this world stuff.

Gregg I noticed you did not include any information about the wheels and hub caps that you will be using. In your meetings with NASA did they bring up the special new type of alloy with imimridiume set at position 7. I know it's expensive but if they were to include the NASA Logo on the hub caps ,they may make a reduction. I know several metalurgists that have advanced degrees so if you wish , I can float the project and propose that they come to Detroit for a alloy meeting. All I ask is a mention in your forthcoming book.

I've silently watched this thread since the beginning. It was pointless then and has been pointless ever since. Well, I take that back. The point was to be surreptitiously demeaning and insulting and most joining in have done so in the same light. Humor at someone else's expense isn't humor, whether it's deserved or not. We will not debate that point here. Perhaps with even a minute amount of effort something either useful, productive or funny at no one else's expense could be found to occupy our time.

Oh....I don't know? I have laughed pretty hard at some of the late night jokes on Micheal Jackson and others.
