Glenn beck pulling show off fox news

I am a fan of the information the man provides. I am not a big fan of his presentation with the voice variations etc.
You can always tell a person who doesn't really listen to him but claims he mis-informs but really only get their info from blogs etc. If anyone spent anytime listening they would know he presents many things using the persons own words often via video or audio recording of them showing who and what they really are.
Has he made a few mistakes, sure anyone who is on that many hours a day has. He also is man enough to admit his mistakes.

Of course all Liberals watch Beck, What else are they going to do? They don't work. Media Matters hired 83 people to disprove Beck. EIGHTY THREE PEOPLE....Yet in the end they still look like complete idiots.........
Becks company "Mercury" signed a contract with fox to do other programming. He made a statement about it yesterday on his show. He said he never wanted to be in the spotlight on issues like this and create controversy. but somebody had too.......
Yeah he's over the top sometimes. But, i have yet to hear one of these liberals prove him wrong on an issue......

I understand your point, I stopped listening to him because of the repetitiveness of the message he was trying to make, it was like I am sitting in a scene in Orwell's 1984 and hearing something over and over and over and over and over ... so I started to feel talked down to. This happens often with many of the entertainers, especially those on mainstream networks.

Really????? You have just released the secret on how to have a successful television or radio program. I wouldn't be repeating that or spreading that information around, it is very powerful information indeed.
Seriously, you made no other mention of a source of information, which says a lot. How about a book, newspaper, or God forbid step into a library where there is a plethora of information to be found that is more credible than any pundit, blogger, talking head, morning zoo shock jock, or hyper-inflated, egomaniac radio entertainer.
You have people that listen to these shows and take the information as Gospel and believe what they are saying without question. Case in point, the Soapbox.

It is funny though, how you say that "Liberal" shows are bought and paid for by Soros(spoooky dude) and others(whoever that is), but fail to mention that the same thing goes on with the other side. I will say this though, there is one glaring difference between Soros and those that do the same thing on the right. Transparency.

I do not watch cable news opinion shows or the network news, what you and others here in the Soapbox would call, the lamestream media, other than the Sunday morning shows on Fox, CNN and NBC.

The opinion shows on the Left and the Right are exactly that, "garbage". They are there to tell you what you want to hear, that is all. Otherwise, they would not be on the air.
The real scary thing is that you have a lot of people that cannot discern the difference between entertainment and actual jounalism and actual facts.

I used to watch Beck's t.v. show when I could(1 to 3 times a week if possible) but stopped watching him about 2 months ago. Any normal person can only take his schtick for so long.

So, let me get this straight. You can get things wrong, if you are on the air many hours of the day? Wow, I had know idea. So you give him a pass because he spends a lot of time broadcasting, and not doing his homework before he speaks.
I think he apologized(if you care to call it that) for calling the President a racist, but I'm not sure of any other public apologies that he has submitted. Care to share them with us.

Do you really think that MediaMatters hired eighty three people just to disprove Beck? Let that think in for a moment......think about it real hard.......If your mind is so clouded with Beck's BS and still think that MediaMatters still hired those people just for Beck, then I suggest you look it up, don't just take my word for it, look it up yourself, do your homework and find out for youself.
You won't have to go very far......look up, your 83 people statement is a good one to start with.

I'd Believe Beck over anybody at Media Matters. I've actually talked to Angelo Carusone the head of the stop beck campaign on Twitter.
In one of this stories he said Beck was losing audience. I asked him why he didn't compare along side liberal media shows. He never answered. He didn't answer because liberal media ratings are in the toilet.
I also asked him if he supports free speech and why can't he debate what beck's issues. He never answered me on that issue also.
This isn't about democracy or free speech. Its about power and using the useful idiots of the left to move forward with an agenda.......
Even if they'd come to be successful in taking Fox news off the air. They can't shut out the truth. Me and people like me will stand up and yell as loud as we can....
I'm standing up for the poor families, the minorities, the immigrants and anybody who wants to be free and be something in life......
The left stands for elitists who want all the power while everybody else gets the scraps.........
This has all happened before.......Its in a history book...Ever seen one?

Beck lies, so does CBS, NBC. ABC, Fox New, MSBC etc. Why is it that so few "liberals", for lack of a better term, never point out the failings of ALL the entertainment/news outlets? You are correct sir. The subject here though is specifically Glen Beck. The news organizations you mention are not concerned with the truth either. Ratings trump truth, however, Beck is not a newsman. He is a self proclaimed "commentator". Comments are opinions or just nonsense. He thrives on frightening the bejesus out of people. I know a little old lady who is afraid of her own shadow because of this man's lies. Unacceptable!
