Who decides whether or not there are too many people on the earth? What should be done with the "surplus"? Who decides what "must" be done to stop people from reproducing? Kinda scary.

That's the problem. You don't get it. I never said anyone should hide. I said that when possible they go over the top to shock people and they make sure they choose venues that give the most opportunity to do so.
I'm not homophobic, and have known a number of gay people through the years. Generally they were as friendly as anyone, intelligent, and often more tolerable to be around than other non-gay people. My opinion is they should be treated equally to others just as I should be treated equally by them. Marriage is the one area of contention. Marriage is between a couple, a man and a woman. Pairs, two men or two women, should be joined if they choose and a civil union that grants survivorship, medical decision making, insurance, etc. etc. would cover everything marriage covers without the major slap in the face to many who want to maintain marriage as a covenant between a couple.
I don't expect you to agree and possibly not to even see or comprehend. You are over the top emotionally on the issue and have lenses far from clear to view the subject. That's your prerogative. This is the other side of the picture.
All sorts of groups hold big lavish parades ...why does there parade bother you more than others..its probably because they have had to hide who they were for years...so now there out and proud...pretty obvious... again if there so in your face..Dont watch...there not hurting anybody....with a divorce rate among heterosexual couples at nearly 50%......so the argument of marriage being sacred seems odd......again real obvious... they just want to be equal..and they seem to be working pretty good at it..yes.. as stated many times before I am very passionate on the subject...

I don't watch. The one time I had nothing to do with the supervisor at work was when he was going on about his trip to San Francisco to be in the mr. leather contest. Yes, there are some extravagant parades, Macy's being one of the biggest and oldest. The difference is that at least until very recently nobody had to explain to elementary students what they were seeing in the parade.
Nobody said marriage is anywhere near sacred, not with so many people working to sabotage it. And you would have to dial it back a few notches to be 'very passionate' about it. If that ever happened you might be able to see all the points being made and discuss them.

So having to be honest (and do your job) explain how the world is to a child.is a problem for you....so again what you are saying is for the gays to hide who they are...I really think women/ men being who they are is not the problem...seems to be the parents ...
See the words you use like sabotage (that's what you think)... that's not what there intentions are...FYI ..a Michigan judge ..today ruled the ban against gay marriage is unconstitutional.... that's my whole point..it is unconstitutional! I'm dialed back just fine...

It's not an argument, it's two simple questions which you should be able to answer. You gave two justifications for same-sex marriage, and all I asked was what relationship the justifications have with same-sex marriage. Since you are unable to give an answer to either, then both can be dismissed as wholly irrelevant.
