And on what factual or experiential basis did you come up with that conclusion ?Cmon kid get real. My first post on this subject was about the title of this thread Fox News Dirty Tricks. I commented that it was probably a sloppy editing error and not someone with bad motives out to destroy Ron Paul.
Do you have any intimate, personal experience with the media ? .... video news production ?
Have you reviewed some white paper done by the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) that studied and documented editing and production errors that determined causes ?
..... or was the above supposition just pulled from some dark, warm, and moist place on the lower portion of the anatomy ?
No, you were criticized, not for not buying in, but for attempting to excuse their behavior as the basis of a supposition for which you offered no evidence ..... and ultimately attempting to dismiss the argument you refer to as entirely frivolous, and without any possible merit whatsoever .....I was then critisized for defending Fox at all costs because I didn't buy into that argument.
It's you who has no evidence or supporting facts to back up your position - not the other way around.
You ASSume that I (or others) jumped .....I didn't jump to the conclusion because Fox News uses the wrong footage that it automatically means that they have some evil motive.
Maybe it's a case that I (or others) are paying a bit more attention to Fox News' conduct over the years with regard to Dr. Paul ...
Or perhaps it's the case that we are not paying anymore attention, and are seeing the very same thing as you - but that we aren't quite as willing to bury our heads in the sand as you seem to be, and blithely dismiss yet another example of Fox News' very obvious and often quite hostile bias against Dr. Paul.
Can't speak for others, but I have witnessed this hostility - repeatedly, over a long period of time - on the part of a number of Fox News personalities: Sean Hannity, Chris Wallace, Carl Cameron all come to mind immediately just off the top of my head. Of course, now additionally, Bill Hemmer. There may be others as well.
I make no claim of conspiracy - but it is clear to me, that at least at some level, there appears to be an institutional bias against Dr. Paul at Fox News ....
Of course, that sorta kills the whole "Fair & Balanced" premise don't it ? ....
If my memory serves (and I could very well be incorrect on this) I believe you have defended Fox News in the past .... of course, brand-loyalty to whatever one's choice of beverage is, is to be expected I suppose ....
And you may wish to seriously consider disassociating yourself from the "See-no-evil" and "Hear-no-evil" contingents of the Three Monkeys Crowd:You really need to get rid of that JUMP TO CONCLUSION MAT
