>See what you can get JOE,forget that 1979 International.

Already did! At least for my expediter. I am still going to get it and put on a 20' flatbed. Should work for local stuff, mainly construction and oilfield stuff (We have several pieces of construction equipment). Also got a guy that will need it to transport ditch shoreing. But thats a whole seperate deal all together. Are all dealers about the same for new trucks? or is it best to shop around for new spec. trucks (mean stacking a KW up to a KW)?

Nice looking T300 Butch! The Cummins ISC 8.3 was a brand new design of the old C 8.3 in 1999, and has a computer contolled pump-line-injector system called "CAPS", and it was kind of troublesome. If yours is a 300+ HP 24 valve engine, (It will say 24V on the rocker cover) it's an early ISC. There are some maintenance guidelines for this system and it's fuel pump, which is very expensive to replace if it fails. It mainly involves frequent fuel filter replacement, and keeping the fuel system clean. Just wanted to make you aware of this, other than that it's a very reliable engine. Cummins just switched the ISC to unit injectors last year. Enjoy!

Thanks Weave, I will check with owner when I get the truck here. I'm sure he is aware of any problems, and will be able to tell me what he has done. He has all maintenance records. From talking to him, he has been into trucking for some time now. Thanks Again...Drive Safely..Be Happy.I Am..Butch..:D :D :D
