Maybe a better example here.
Notice the white portals.. Prime for you to take and power up and put online. Powering up portals is good on points also.
The blue portal is mine, I must have not noticed the other white ones or they may have been controlled by the other team at the time.

Now notice the church. Also prime for the taking. Only one level 7 Resonator left and its almost done.. Hit it and power it up for your faction.

Smoked Kokomo In. Saturday morning before I pulled out of there.

Even set up several little fields in Gas city.
Lots of portals and a great place to farm for items needed. This church is just one of many great structure's ya come across. Just down the road from Walmart. Kokomo has a lot to see. This game gets you there.

Properly stay home tomorrow so if I go to town for coffee in the morning I should hit level six. (that's what I'll tell the wife anyways)

Picked up another level today. 2nd picture is what the downtown area like looked like after I linked a bunch of portals. It was to freaking cold to get out of the wife's truck to do much but I picked up some nice points. Was trying to learn how to set up field's from a warm vehicle.. I didn't do so well on the feilds but I linked a lot of portals.

Well this turned out to be the most expensive free game ever, once ya consider the fuel bill.

Level8 is as far as ya can go as far as weapons and strength of portals.. From this point on its nothing but points to level up... At level 8 its no problem taking knocking portals out. Still fun trying to take over portals and feilds... In the past few weeks Chicago,, Altlanta,, Las Vegas all had battles for control of their city's... If I read the story correctly, Each had over 5000 agents from both sides..Vegas had folks flying in from all over the world to attend.
Can't wait for Detroit to hold another anomaly...Gotta get my granddaughter leveled up to at least 6 then we should be able to some damage in a short amount of time as a team.

That was my thought.. I enjoy it, but a lot of ppl don't have gaming in their blood..Granted as ya start this game the blowing up of stuff and controlling areas are cool, but the more ya play and explore ya start to stop and take notice of each portal. Some of these structures are amazing and would never be built like they use to. Its really rare to come across a portal that isn't worth looking at.. Yes ya get the portal once in awhile that is something in line like a local bar or ice cream shop but not to often.. Most portals need to be something of interest or where people gather. Ya see a boat load of history in this game if ya take time to look at it.

Been wanting to take this portal in Lawrence's neighborhood for some time now...Finally swung in there and got it today..When did this stadium change names? I thought it was called something else.

It used to be called Champion Window Field, the home of Florence Freedom - Cincinnati's Minor League team. Our company is a proud sponsor on the home field in the park.

It's a great place to watch a ball game for $10 and on Thursday's it's $1 draft & hot dogs.

Late in replying Lawrence but thanks. Not sure if my old timers was kicking in, but you confirmed I'm still OK..
I've been in there for 2 ball games 2 firework shows and tryed to slide into a concert one night but they where having nothing to do with the truck, I arrived that day as traffic was really ramping up and think if I would have gotten there sooner I would have gotten a parking spot.. Great stadium and when I think I'm going to layover in the area I always try to look at the events list...
Its places like this that this game can take you to and I'm really becoming obsessed with it..

LOL.. It isn't often games drag me in.. Only one other has done so in the past.. Without Ingress I would not have been here last night trying to blow stuff up..Even with the bad weather I walked the entire distance trying to keep my phone dry Even met and talked with a few other players that came down to take back what I blew up.. It was a good night out

One guy seemed a little pissy at first but he came around when his buddy started laughing at him... They turned out to be good people.
