Ya know if Ford or GM would add a couple foot to the length and height of their extended vans there would be some real choice and competition here.

If Ford would get their heads out of their behinds and bring here the real Transits, they would give some competition to the Sprinter. Until then, Sprinter rulez.

They could always make the existing line bigger, better, badder.

But they seem to think they have to re-invent the wheel...

Their existing line isn't that bad...they just have to stretch them out....

I guess a Ford Transit is for ,,,,,,,,,,tiny freight, doll clothes, lol, guess it works for Ford, diffidently a different marketing mindset.

I was talking about the real transit, not the transit connect, the one sprinter looking that they have been selling in europe for ever.

I see they didn't put the Curb or GVW weight on their Specifications, but I see they went from 154HP to 188HP............if I every see it thru the one that I've already got, there well be no more in my drive-way............got suckered one time .........not again.

Too bad you got suckered. You should have made an informed decision. I did, and I am happy to say that I will never go back to a regular van. I might try other 'big' vans like Ford Transit (if it ever gets here) or Fiat Whatever if they prove to be reliable here.

Actually, they do offer the basis to compete with the Sprinter and at a cost that is $10,000 less.

You can....ah, never mind it would take too long to explain.

Coming soon to a truck stop near you.

Just buy your GMC 3500 chassis and have a box put onto the frame. They also have a way of extending the box out if you have a dualy! That way you don't have any wheel wells to worry about. I know what kind of set up you are talking about though D. It's gonna be a sweet truck to see.
