Empty in Cincinnati...Went to bed at the TA in Florance Ky down the road and across the E-way from Lawances office under the Watertower close to the mall...

Dropped load at Load1 at 11:30am this morn. Wasn't empty yet and while standing in front of our wonderful dispatch team they were trying to take a multi-stop load from Baycity and Saginaw MI to Chicago tonight. They weren't having any luck getting someone to take the loads so I volunteered us without Hubby's knowledge. So now we are picking up in Saginaw with another stop in Taylor, MI then on to the airport in Chicago. I like the fact that it is a 300 mile run paying as if it were a 500 mile run. Love that drive less earn more!
Let's see what we can get tomorrow to finish out our week. Still time for another load this week after this one in Chicago. I'm not greedy mind you, LOL

Still sitting in Milton, ON after dropping in Newmarket, ON Wednesday morning ... the southeast office just called with something picking up now in Niagara Falls going to Bennington, VT for delivery in the morning .... just came across the QC ...
This week seemed a little slower .... but I'll still have (at least) around 1850 loaded for week, even if nothing further comes up

At one point, couple of years ago, around 33% or more of my loads were going into, or coming out of, Canada ...... then things got real quiet for awhile, no loads at all ... for maybe 8 to 12 months (may have just been the economy) ... in the last 2 months I've been up to the Great White North quite a bit

Home sittin in my recliner playin with my oldest daughters dog (grandma is dog sitting) and watchin Nascar practice thinkin I need to do something useful..but i think it will be a passing thought..here till I get a load, with the long weekend that might be tues....or until my 16 y/o drives me out of the house...I really must have been a good kid, cause I leved, my mom didn't kill me...but i know thats not true...i was a PITA kid, so I guess I am just getting paid back...God help me...I know why some animals eat their young...

Dennis, from what I remember of the "upset" it was because of 2 totally different subjects in 1 place ...Banter and location.
Why can't the locations thread be used just for your location & the banter thread in Load 1 be used for the chit chat side of it?
Seems sensible to me & it might help OVM & Juju out too, cos they seem to be having difficulty today going into the right thread
