It wasn't a picnic for me even though I had a few loads. Delays are running near 50% of my driving time...6 hours on Tuesday and 6 on Wed on a 10 and 12 hour drive, without deadhead.... even my local delayed me 45 min on dropoff...the rates start looking worse when it takes 72 hours to accomplish 2 medium runs and a shorty

Well that's what waiting time is for I guess, but it pays far better to get those loads you missed out on by losing 13 hours (I lost at least 2)...my point being this week I could have stayed home in any normal job and made as much...

Got to Wayne's we'd morning, that little grumble in my gut, turned into yep I'm sick. Managed to make it to the throne thank goodness. Repairs on the van turned out above and beyond what we expected. At the Pilot in Ottawa Lake, MI, thinking about going back in service.

My lord it's been a tough week.. if you aren't waiting for a load you're broke down and spending more money on repairs and then ya get sick and pay lots of visits to the porcelain god.. being an expediter isn't for sissy's! Get a good nights sleep all of you and I swear tomorrow will be a better day!!!;)

I used the wrong term.

I was referring to the crowd you find, especially up here and in Laredo, that run illegally in overweight cubes and earn just enough to keep body and soul together. Six months and they go home, being swapped for friends who come and do the same thing. Their vehicle owners run them cheaper than we citizens and neighbours can afford to operate.

Face it, we're all in one of three groups: Immigrants, descendants of immigrants, or Native Americans. Those who have come to America the right way, following the rules and procedures, are welcome to stay forever . Canadian, Eastern European, Latino, whomever. But folks who come to benefit from our freedoms without committing to their new Nation? They can go home.

Pilot did not buy all the Wilco's from Speedway....only select locations...the rest will probably be closed up eventually....
There's a new J outside of Harrisburg PA that used to be a Speedway, and a new Pilot just east of the old one in Lincoln AL...

BTW, "native Americans" migrated from Asia(read Siberia), so technically you are from present day Russia, if you consider yourself a native American.
It all boils down to when, not if Russia will come to take their territory back from invaders.
Canada, USA, Mexico...
All Russian territory based on their people first settling here.
