My carrier is a pro and getting less than 300 mile runs, and an occasional 400+ mile load. I'm at the back end of this career. Been pounding the highways since 1979, so I'm good with short runs. I also have another source of income. That keeps me moving also.short run kinda guy? i thought bout tryin to only take short runs but was unsure how my dispatch would feel concerning it, just to see how i would do in comparison to mix n matching big/small etc. i make VERY good money on short runs but seems their few far and in between.
