Sitting on a dock by the bay....found a Walmart off 664...supposed to be more rain then snow here so i think I;ll just lay up here and see...if nothing fine...if something thats ok too...I'd prefer to let this one pass...

Dh'd home from Ft. Lauderdale and am heading to the shop...O2 sensor took a dump on the way here...so i guess ill get a tune up and the O2 sensor fixed and i few other little thongs i have been putting off....
So ive been home very weekend since i went back in service after the holidays, not how i planned it, just worked out that way,,,this bein superbowl weekend, I did figure on bein home and makin a big pot of White chili and goin to a party...so thats the plan, get the truck fixed, cook and oarty sunday....back in service late monday or sometime tuesday...seeya...

I did a load a couple of weeks ago that only paid $400,that might seem like a no do,and for the total of miles involved,should have really been a no do.But, since that load,my year has gotten very exciting.Sure,5 days of detention sure helped, maybe,guess that 400 dollar load was my rabbits foot. For some reason.I seem to be in the right place,not sometime, but lately everytime.
I would really like to brag on my year,but I'm afraid this will all end.I will say,in the 27 years of being an owner operator,this is the best winter I have ever had,4th quarter numbers.
This weekend,resetting the 34hrs in Mooresville NC.Race shops are in walking distance,Great resturants,from Seafood at Big Daddys on Lake Norman to a Chineese buffet in shopping plaza next to motel.Good country cooking at Fat Boys,which is also a buffet,and across the highway,The Golden Corral.In less than a half mile there are 20 resturants that will keep your belly full.
We load Monday in Knoxville Tn,so couple days off will be great,next weekend will be home

So 15 minutes after I post this I get a load opp going from SC to NY. Right through the blizzard.

seems the winter storm has me cornered like a rat...going OOS for 24 hrs....we'll then how the wind blows....

For someone who lives in Bison, South Dakota, I'd expect more proper behavior from him....Out of service in a snow storm? I'd think you'd be in your element in that !!! LOL.Just messin with you-Thinking about going home today.Van needs attention and so does my girlfreind..........

Hey, I may live in it..but we also are not stupid enough to drive in it, when there is no need too...
I got 2,071 miles this week..that is enough for me...
The Freightmaster will take the opportunity to re-position himself for Monday...

Wait a minute...I was under the impression that I had more loaded miles than you for the week..This changes everything.I may need another load to exceed the Freightmaster.
