After a couple days of freezing my butt off in Ipswich, SD I am now sitting at the J in Toledo.....talk about a heat wave. It was -8F when I delivered. I had the heater running full blast and I still could feel the cold air.....I am getting prepared to go home and watch the superbowl. And by the way, "GO COLTS!!!!".:cool: By the way...I wouldn't recomend sitting in the dakotas.....the only thing I got was a cold. Guess that's what I get for being frugal and not gettin a hotel room.

Deadheaded up to Dallas this evening/morning...only 7 others and me...so lets see what today brings...lol So everyone in the J lot in Dallas wake up the party has arrived...:cool: 4 Panthers, 1 Bolt, 1 Hanna, 1 unmarked and me!!! :D

Only thing there is BNSR repair shop?

usually -20/-40 and thats the day temp...*L*:D

BTW why'd you not stop in the twin cities? I always get loaded out of there.

We made it home ok. I will tell you one thing, dead heading by air is much faster than by truck!! More restful and less expensive. We will be back out to the truck and in service on Monday barring any problems.

There were two vans sitting in Minneapolis...and they were avg 0 a day.....not to mention I have to get my qc board replaced...I am #13 on the Romulus, MI board. Nothing has moved since I got here last night....getting fustrated to say the least. I can still delete my messages and use the read previous button instead of my read next button since it is completely gone. I don't want to lose my position on the Romulus board cause there are 12 vans in Akron, 22 in Chicago......2 in Des Moines, 5 in Davenport, IA.

There's a P2 CV here since I got here yesterday in Walton...must be a little bit of a slowdown for vans or its a straight job week...

Deadheaded down on Monday from Princeton, IN to Clarksville, TN for a load and it went dry run :rolleyes:

Got one out of Paris, TN on Tuesday going up to Dearborn and then was predispatched for one picking up in Oldcastle, ON going to Sturgis, MI - the customer changed the order and asked for a larger truck, so it cancelled (which was fine with me) - instead I picked up one in Milan, MI that went down to Sharonville, OH.

Headed up to Urbana, OH last night to pickup one this morning that I just dropped in Battle Creek. Hanging at Arlene's for the moment ..... maybe I'll catch a nap.

oh darn..Ken's picking up in Ohio and headed for Chesapeake, VA....looks like he'll be ahead of the weather and gets to go play by the ocean. And here I sit in the snow..oh well...I get to be inside and snuggy and warm!

It must be a slow week for vans, Ive been sittin in Houston since Sunday and not even so much as a peep outta the qc. Bout the only thng that has kept me from loosing it is that I dont have to sit in the van.....prolly wont be coming back to Texas anytime soon.................

Got all the Tax papers and year end warped up .
made a million $'s last year , but as far as uncle sam concern , im in a loss .
Visited the North pole...Twice ...
have some friends for a big dinner 2night ...
then a late morning PU going to northern Cal. with some time to 'play in the snow' along the way.

Confront OVM on where to go..He'll look into his crystal ball..I listened to his advice, and now,1,900 loaded miles later.I am sitting in Georgetown waiting for the next load !!!!!

well Im sitting #1 so I "should get outta here tomorrow" if OVM knows how to shake things up and get me movin then he can pm, lol I'll even make sure he gets some points on the side.
Its weeks like this that make me wonder if I wanna buy my own buggy. Guess I will hang tight and see what weather comes my way:cool:
