After all we wouldn't have truckers without the government roads.

They actually believe stuff like that.

Oh, and the government created the "Department Of Transportation" without that we would have no regulations and trucks woul be duck-taped together out here. All of the cowboy types would be running their 7 thousand mile weeks and killing people! lol

My grandmother recently passed away but I still find it hard to move out of the basement into the living room upstairs. It's nice and peaceful down here. I was just joking man. We don't have many basements out here in California!

Didn't really think you had a basement, lol

From the cargo van to the basement, from the basement and beyond! Blizzard is your one stop shipping expert with true street credit. I am already earning respect from my deivers because of my over the road "street credit" as being a driver first and a dispatcher second.

You know how I came up with this joke? I actually have an internet friend who was living in his grandmothers basement and she did pas away last year and he still refuses to move upstairs. lol! True story. She died and left him the house. He still preserves her flower garden to help keep her memory alive.

Yes. Express-1 is still rolling as far as I know, I left there 3 weeks ago. They have some great loads, we got a Sunday load from Laredo to Benton Harbor, MI Memorial Day weekend. But be careful if your just a driver. There are some owners who don't care if the a/c works or not

Anyhow...great job on getting that 2 bucks out of them.....like taking money out of ATeams profit shares....LOL...;)

If Ateams profit shares were effected, it would be on the good side. I made more money so did Express-1. Good example of not "giving" anything up.

we have been very happy with e-1 since the switch from the previous carrier. first name basis with dispatchers, our truck is being used like it is contracted to be and by the way we saw a jump in income without busting our humps.:)

yes it is, and i forgot to mention door to door miles have been a lot more accurate.

I can't comment on the accuracy....as nothing to compare to....except my present unnamed carrier the miles are just as accurate.....there will be some that are off because of the zip to zip programming....if you run the Whirlpool to Tulsa coming from the east it will be off by about 15 miles unless they fixed that...LOL just one of the glitches everyone has....just saying

Were you a company driver or an O/O? My husband and I are strongly considering them and we wondered how the miles and pay are. We know a very good owner we would drive for.

I remember joking with my nephew when E-1 had their split pay - $1.20, unless it's a favored customer... then it's $1.12. I said everyone will become their favored customer.

They did.

I don't know what they're paying now. What are you and your husband planning on driving?

I would think that the best place to get information about Express-1 pay per mile is straight from the horse's mouth. When Diane and I were researching a carrier change a year ago we found the Express-1 recruiter to be very forthcoming with information that we later found to be reliable.

Do you want to know what Express-1 pays? Call the company and ask. To gain confidence in the information given, check it out with the Express-1 drivers you see here in the Open Forum or meet on the road.
