Great week for miles....My week was a bit slower..only 3 runs...1649 total miles, 1493 loaded miles.....$2336 to the truck...oh and another $200.00 in layover pay...

Keep runnin those miles...:D
I got you all beat. I made 700 dollars last week and didn't even have to turn a key, strap down a load, or even leave my basement! I've been getting the driver of my cargo van loads from my own company and cutting out the middle man "aka the carrier" and my cut is a heck of a lot higher than it would be if I was leased on with any outside carrier! I am cheering for myself...RARAARARARAHAHAHARARA! lol

The rule I used was: divide the gross to the truck or van by 2 and that part is yours and thats if lady luck has smiled on you as in no blown radiators, waterpumps, and so on, but then again I was a o/o so that is a different ballgame then just be in a driver with no interest vested in your ride.

I think you always see the questionable posts when no one really knows what the carrier pays.
For the benefit of the new folks, that might be worth mentioning.
See some saying they pay very minimally, followed by someone saying they are running for two dollars a mile in a van.
Is that a 1000 mile load or 10 mile load? Usually makes a difference.
If that can't be disclosed, then there is usually a reason.
No need to complicate the simple with a mystery.

Don't you just love a mystery? $646 paid on 321 miles, (includes 10 mile deadhead).

You can do the Math.

Posted rates are one thing. Actual pay is another. I'll teach someone everything they KNOW, but I will never teach then everything I KNOW.

Mo miles mo problems. Mo miles mo breakdowns. Mo miles mo maintenance. Mo miles no sleep! lol

So it is better to have zero miles, and live in a basement? I'll take Mo Miles, Mo pay, and Mo Maintenance anyday. Step out, get a office, after all, you didn't do it yourself.

I learn this the other day.
I learn it by hearing Barry say so.

After all we wouldn't have truckers without the government roads.

They actually believe stuff like that.

My grandmother recently passed away but I still find it hard to move out of the basement into the living room upstairs. It's nice and peaceful down here. I was just joking man. We don't have many basements out here in California!
