Chicago crime is predominately confined to the south side in Detroit you can pretty much say it's inside the entire city limits. Locals in the burbs don't even go there at night unarmed. Chicago statistics are up but you're not going to see a lot of crime on the north side and certain areas. Chicago population at 2.6 Mil - Detroit at 700,000
And the ONLY solutions EVER floated is to borrow more money, promise more freebies and infringe upon or take away the rights and freedoms of law abiding citizens all over the state. Detroit has asked for every thing it has.
