Had a few smaller, but good paying loads this week,it all adds up! Hoping that weekend dispatch can work their majic and find me a nice long one over the weeekend!
Had a 2,500# load on today, and what a huge difference the Firestones made in how it handled with that weight on.It did not even squirm, or act funny at all going down the road.Such a nice feeling not to be fighting with the van for once! Thank you, Belle Tire!
Had the opportunity to obtain a Cummins/Onan generator this morning, used, with only 15 hours on the digital hour meter.3,200 watts, 2,800 continuous.Got it for 800.00 less than a new one.This will be more than enough to run a rooftop a/c and everything else.Real nice! Only 58 decibels loud! have to wait for the front hitch and basket to come in to mount it out of the way.I dont like putting it on the front, but it is the only place to put it on this van.
Sent the B-2 espar back, and ordered a B-4 model instead.Twice the btu's for 125.00 more.Figure that all of this should more than pay for itself in the first year alone, the way this van goes through gas when idling, not to mention I will be able to cook the food in the van, saving more money,and hopefully, eating healthier.
It's amazing how things seem to work out so well.This coming year is going to be an awesome year, topping this year, I just feel it!

If anyone needs anything broken, bring it over. I seem to have the touch right now.
Went to play a movie on the laptop last night and it wouldn't play. It plays dvd's I've burned but there is no sound. Don't know if it's the drive or the program.
APU won't stay running and I am idling to stay warm. That goodness the bunk heater works.
I was on my way to DRS for repairs yesterday when their tech had his accident, so I'll be hanging around here until Monday. Maybe snag a couple of locals if I'm lucky, but I'm not holding my breath.

A truck driver was pulled over by a State Trooper. The patrolman told him to get out of the truck, and noticed that the driver appeared to be putting something in his mouth as he stepped out of the cab. Figuring that the driver was putting away his pep pills, the patrolman asked, "Did I just see you swallow something?"
"Yep, that was my birth control pill," said the driver.
"Birth control pill?" asked the patrolman.
"Yep, when I saw your flashing light, I knew I was screwed!"
