I delivered early Friday morning to Fort Payne, AL. Slept most of the day, then got a call from Dispatch: "Do you want to go home for Christmas? We'll pay your fuel if you do."
How kewl is that?

Morning!! Starter cookin food for dinner tonight and gettin ready to wrap mama's presents...we have the grandson till later today then is mama and new sister will be headin home and we will hustle him off to be with them...
Yea Turtle, last yr i did a Saline Mich to Waterloo Iowa 3 days before Christmas...After I dropped, dispatch told me to go get a room and dinner on Load 1 or head for home on Load 1's dime...I ran home and spent the holiday with my family....It just doesn't get better then haulin freight for Load 1 and John E.
You all have a Great and Merry Christmas with your families or where ever you are on the road....

Merry Christmas..I like Steve, am recovering from our "smaller" then normal family get together...With the new baby coming home yesterday, mom, baby, brother and dad all stayed home..and my other son is out of town ay the Military Bowl in DC..So we will do Christmas with our kids New Years Day...then it will be another day of recovery...So to that end, we will do a little family dinner this afternoon, I'll go back in service later this evening and run this week and then head home for New Years day for both News Years and bit of Christmas...

We're recuperating today after a big family Christmas at my sister's ranch..sport of the afternoon was shooting skeet since there was no snow for snowmobiling and tobagganing. Think I'm gonna make a big batch of turkey noodle soup and try to get the house back in order..got the tree down..now to clean up!

Good morning!! #1 in the Toledo area, #2 in the Taylor area..Heading up to the yard for a while this morning (i have a "few" BOL's that i need to turn in and I need to get some paper work from Angie.. then back home (if i don't get a load while up in the yard) and wait for the big trip to end the year...
