yes they are flat rate dont mean on occasion if circumstances are in my favor that I dont try to negotiate price whats it hurt to try

I would deadhead somewhere, but in the who country we only have 15 vans under loads and 4 of them show from over the weekend. So where can I DH to there's no freight anywhere. BTW we have 91 B and superB's in service right now and 15 under loads...

I always thought LEA would be the only place I'd consider for a van.

Isn't Load-1 still a % carrier ?

I think FedEx vans have been flat rate for sometime now .85 per mile plus FSC.
The new rate for vans will be .80 plus FSC.

The loss of that 5 cents caused me to stick with Tri State because with my fuel surcharge it's almost even per mile. Plus loss of income for a minimum of 2 weeks and having to get my CDL sealed the deal against FedEx CC
