I don't know of any "American" culture that works that way.
You Americans think different....I can't finger it exactly but other Canadian members notice it too, we've discussed it in private....It is not a bad thing or slam but something is just different.

Well what can I say?
I lived here most of my life but seeing other cultures in other parts of the country, there is nothing like this one here.
The mindset of the people not just the people of the city but the suburbs is amazing, the callousness and treatment of people and the uncaring feelings for the things of the past and the lack of any pride has put this area on a fast track to h*ll.
It is a different culture than Chicago, Cleavland or Indianapolis.
Of course we think differently, you sure don't want us to think like you, it takes away from the Canadian uniqueness.
