Chill the f*** out, I'm not trying to pick a fight only trying to read through all the cryptic posts that are being written about this tragic murder. I have read and re-read yours and others posts to try and figure out what is being said about this horrific incident. Say what you mean and own it otherwise don't respond at all, for the love God.

I think it's fair to assume that what's being implied here is that a father's murder of his 15 year-old son for molesting a 3 year-old girl is a black cultural thing. If that's not the case, then I stand corrected.
Regarding the event itself, the article is rather vague when it states "improper sexual contact". Fondling is one thing, forcible rape is an altogether different offense. At any rate, the whole deal sounds pretty barbaric.

In my minds eye I see
A 15-year-old son on his knees begging his father not to shoot him. A crying mother, begging her husband not to do it. A father..Pulling the trigger and killing his son.
I am a father of three Sons, and cannot for the life of me think of anything that they would do to drive me to do something like this.
On the other hand, I don’t have the facts. Have know idea how this boy was raised, how the father and mother raised him. Seems they failed at any rate. The father should have driven his son to the police department and dropped him off and let the law do what they do. Then in three years when he gets out of jail (15 he would be released at age 18), he will more than likely be killed on the streets or go back in jail. But, then again I don’t have all the facts.
At any rate it was a sad thing to have happened.

OK there seems to be some assumptions, here is the thing, it is sort of a race issue but it isn't.
The entire area we have two types of people, one who wants to deal with these problems (white, black, red, blue) to solve them and those who claim that the culture is not to be question because it can't be solved. It is the culture of the city, black and white and blue and red. This has been going on for years and years and unless you stop, listen and look around, you never see it.
I listened last week to the news that there are a number of Detroit citizens who were getting mad at the suburbs commenting on the issue of Detroti Public Schools, city worker's contracts, the water department being a mess and so on - they were white, black and Hispanic and all citizens of this city. These are the same ones who say that we, the suburbs don't understand the culture of the city when things like this happens, they justify the dog fighting, the assaults and the condition of the city. THey claim we can't experince the problems unless we lived there and when someone who lived there speaks up, they are called traitors.
Then we have the news who doesn't report 8% of what is actually going on here. One thing that has been to their surprise is the hard push by the people in the city for electing council members by district. The news were on the side of general elections and ignored the people.
As twisted as my post may seem to be, this is actually what is going on here and what is holding all of us back from actually progressing forward.

Not that this excuses the dad but it was the boy's half sister.
Not to give an "Understatement", but it looks like the father over reacted a little bit.
