Yes, but think about it...he's in his element there.....cows, sheep, corn, flies,....He's probably singing out loud to himself as we type, "Give me a home, where the buffalo roam".......Or maybe even "Rawhide"...

I got that QC message today also...but the fact is they have been telling us to stop into
Taylor to get the upgrades for what 30-45 days...No one elses fault mine isn't done except mine....

As for the OP, come on, he has been trying to figure out how this business works with several different carriers since he became a member here...It appears he didn't do much research before he jumped in with both feet thinking this was a easy way to make a buck....
Are you still talking about "research" lmao, wow.. Isnt it time for you to retire...let me know if you want to sale your "cargomaxx" no you can keep it, i think ill save my money for the new Ford Transit..

So what things about the panther system could he most benefit from? Maybe, he doesn't have to jump ship at all. This is directed to anyone with Panther, not ovm.

Not sure. He hasn't specified what his problems were except for getting knocked out of service by mistake in which they fixed it.

I could benifet by having access to the Owner login info, so i can access my old pros, so i can figure out, why i havent been reimbursed for hundreds of dollars in tolls and dry runs. Also could benifet from at least a courtesy call or qualcom message when i get placed oos. Then i could explain, im not due for an annual revue..bc ive only been there Four months n counting(for now)

"try and figure out why i havent been reimbursed for hundreds of dollars in tolls and dry runs. And trying to get dh pay ( how many times is there an error, that they have to resend load offer when you get to the shipper?? Erasing all DH pay...."

Tolls: Either get the money up front as a bonus, or find out who, exactly, you need to e-mail or scan the tolls receipts to. Just "sending them in with your paperwork" will get you zero. You need to send them to a specific person, so you'll have their name to hold them accountable.

Dry Runs: Should be sent to you over the QC that you are to get Dry Run pay. If you don't receive it over the QC, call 'em up and tell them to send it over. Otherwise, you ain't gonna get it, because it's not documented.

Deadhead Pay: Call them up, BEFORE you pick up the load, and have them calculate the correct DH pay and send it over the QC. If it isn't documented (or is documented but has changed because the load was resent after you got to the pickup - or en route), you'll get zero (or whatever it was automatically recalculated to be).

Hopefully, you can see the theme here is get it documented, and then hold their feet to the fire until you get it.

Turtle is spot on. I will add if you are seeking payment, make sure EVERYTHING is on that pro bill.
If something was missed, call or file (via the web) a addendum. If no access, have the owner fill it out for you if necessary and you can track the progress to payment.
If you failed to list tolls on a pro from six months ago, you are likely dead on that one unless a addendum was filed at or close to the time it paid out.

If you're "not getting enough miles" in a class 8 you're at the wrong carrier period. Can already see from a recent reply above about documenting pay for "dry runs", "deadhead" etc. If you get paid a flat rate to deadhead, you're at the wrong carrier. Just some personal red flags to me, flat mileage rates suck, and any expedited carrier paying them is likely but not necessarily making off like bandits compared to the peanuts they are paying contractors. My loads pay enough to cover deadhead from one to the next, effectively all miles are paid, but technically I get ZILCH for any empty miles. Anyways, seems like OP would do well to follow advice given and figure out how to work the Panther system rather than quit and move on because he failed to learn it in the first place, did not learn from mistakes, and will likely make the same ones at the next carrier wrongly blaming the carrier.

Yeah, you've got to have it on the PRO, and you've got to have it documented, and you've got to hold their feet to the fire until it gets done. They have a lot of people there who do nothing but "It's not my job", and "You should have done this or that, sorry". Panther will screw you, but they will only screw you by the rules. Don't follow the rules, and you're screwed. Doesn't matter if you don't know them. That's why it's so important to know them, and play by them. Then you can use the rules to your advantage.

Im going to wait 6 months, but its probably alot easier to "Embrace the Stupidity" if you are getting decent miles, and not being nickel n dimed to death.

If I'm not mistaken your in a C/Van. If so I would consider the time of year it is. You might be slow now but a new carrier at the end of the year and not knowing their system might put you right back in the same hole.

This may sound like an insult but it really is not meant to be. I am wondering why you care about making money or changing companies since you have the belief that so many people have control over your life and Romney will have almost everyone imprisoned in January. I never understand why people with your beliefs wouldn't just kick back and wait for the end. I don't know if it is the idea of being able to just blame someone else instead of taking responsibility when things go wrong that causes people to just believe guys like Alex Jones without proof or something else. Other than that I would agree with purgoose, it is the wrong time of year to make a change. I would wait until mid-spring and see if things don't get better if this is about money. If you just hate the system they have or something else about the company you might want to change soon so when freight does pickup again the new company will already know you.

Your piturary gland must be a shriveled mess. Why do people like you gamble most of their settlements away? Are you trying to escape reality? And why are you obsessed with Alex Jones, i never mentioned him before, as a matter of fact i told you he was part of the problem...but you keep listening to Savage, Kudlow, Beck, ect..and keep, playing your "fantasy" football, and keep gambling away your truck payments everything will be ok.

I guess your paranoia blinded you since I told you I was asking a question and not insulting you. It seems like a legitimate question given your beliefs and statements here. I will answer your questions even though you are trying to insult me. I gamble for fun and have never come close to gambling away most of a settlement. My wife and I set a budget of $200 (which was less than a days pay for the load I was on) to be wasted in the casino, restaurant, and bar (gambling on football nothing on alcohol since we rarely have any). I happened to win money in the casino and bar my wife lost $30 so overall the 4 days if fun I had cost me nothing. The reason I would say you listen to Alex Jones is because the things you say here line up with what he says and believes, maybe you listen to one of his sheep but Alex is the one running the circus. You also never bothered answering the question about who you listen to or get these ideas from, I didn't remember you saying you don't listen to Alex. I have no truck payments at this time although I may have some in the near future. I will certainly keep playing Fantasy Football since it is fun for me and costs nothing. Yes I listen to Kudlow since he is the only commentator that seems to be able to acknowledge when he thinks the Democrats are doing something right and isn't as negative, plus he is on right after Mad Money and I have money in the stock market. I hope you will answer the question I asked since it was not an insult and just curiosity since I know people that share your beliefs.

Why would I be offended? As I stated before, it is a matter of curiosity that one day you state we have no chance because all these evil people are out to get us and keep us down but now you are worried about getting ahead, the two things are connected. I guess you just have no reason for believing the things you do and make up the wild, baseless ideas on your own. Have you met clcooper?

Good example of why it's better to respond to the post and not the poster. When the topic is changed to become personal (speculating as to why someone believes the way they do), the response is usually to make it personal right back. And then back and forth and back and forth. Most of that is probably better off in a PM.
