Eddie and I used to use that site till E-1 blocked their units from being seen somehow...:(

E-1 used to call us a small straight and the look at the dims and pick out the E-1 units...

Maybe it is me, but identifying the individual trucks by carrier may defeat the purpose of having an alliance of companies, right?

Is revenue profit? Or is this one of the best ways to thank a carrier for managing to take the most of the unprofitable loads and pass them along to the owner/opp's so they too can share in the glory of running terrible loads for a silver star and a cookie. Show me the award for Most Net Profit increase in a year and i will be impressed. I am sure any of the owner/opp's who lost their trucks trying to run this cheap freight will feel better now!

I think what Dennis means is just the ID marker would be seen by Bolt only somehow...

Alliance...one big happy family right?

Yes it would if the clients were they only one looking..but for the drivers it wouldnt...i mean in MOST situations a carrier is going to dispatch a load to one of their "contracted unit" before they use an alliance unit....

If i can see that there are 6 alliance units in a certain area, but none of them are from mt carrier then if the area is a good freight area for my carrier i'll stay...but if 3 of those 6 are from my carrier, i don't care how good an area it is, i ain't stayin there.....just as i left the Detroit are and the toledo area this morning to dh on my own dime to the chicago area where i am currently #2 and by the time i get there should be #1 based on dwell time.....i had to call dispatch to get that info...it would be eaier for the drivers to be able to see it inline and save the bs from certain dispatchers.....

My Gawd..how, how shocking...you moved on your own dime without asking for a handout? You actually are running your own business without a moving bailout! You starting a trend here? Mr Obama will get you...*LOL*

Actually, my unit shows up as a "Sprinter" on the vehicle search .... not a cargo van ....

Thats you? I haven't been to that site in some time since E-1 blocked it...But it gives an idea how many carriers are around ya just when ya think you are all alone...

What I find surprising on Bolts or the Alliances site is how many Sprinters there are, and secondly, how many are listed at 4000lbs for load capacity. Can a Sprinter carry a 4000lb payload? Even more questionable is if the driver has any personal effects with him.
Even seen a few with 5k listed.
Just an observation that I wondered about.

That was my thought. Could be a dually or two out there, but not many. And if they were, the listed dimensions aren't accurate unless the wheel wells have been altered.
